Overview
The iOS Developer will join a public sector organization to enhance a high-traffic mobile application, primarily working remotely with one day a week in Manchester. This role focuses on integrating internal government services, ensuring high standards of testing and quality within a modern engineering environment that values clean architecture and proper test coverage. The contractor will have the opportunity to contribute to a significant project with a six-month timeline, starting immediately.
Responsibilities
- Integrate internal government services into a mobile application.
- Develop features end to end while maintaining high testing standards.
- Utilize Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit within an MVVM-C architecture.
- Implement automated testing across unit, integration, and UI.
- Work with GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate within a modern engineering team focused on quality and performance.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
- Proficiency in MVVM-C architecture.
- Experience with automated testing across various levels.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Desirable skills in Objective-C and performance testing tools like K6.
- Experience in the government or public sector, with eligibility for SC clearance.
