Overview
We are seeking a Junior to Mid Level Power BI Developer/Data Analyst to support a data transformation programme within a well-established organisation. In this fully remote contract role, the contractor will collaborate with senior data professionals to develop, validate, and enhance data models and reporting solutions as part of a wider modernisation project. The position focuses on ensuring data accuracy and reliability through analysis and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI reporting solutions, including DAX measures and KPIs.
- Work with data models to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Use SQL to investigate, analyze, and validate data across different systems.
- Perform data reconciliation and identify inconsistencies during migration activities.
- Validate business logic, calculations, and data transformations.
- Support testing and quality assurance before solutions are released.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve data issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence or Data Engineering.
- Strong SQL skills, including querying, troubleshooting and data validation.
- Experience with Power BI and DAX.
- Understanding of data modeling and reporting principles.
- Experience working with complex datasets and investigating data quality issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
