Overview
We are seeking a Junior/Mid Level Power BI Developer/Data Analyst to join a remote contract team supporting a data transformation program for an established organization. In this role, the contractor will work alongside experienced data professionals to develop and enhance data models and reporting solutions, focusing on ensuring data accuracy and reliability for a modernization project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI reporting solutions, including DAX measures and KPIs.
- Work with data models to support reporting and analytics requirements.
- Use SQL to investigate, analyze, and validate data across different systems.
- Perform data reconciliation and identify inconsistencies during migration activities.
- Validate business logic, calculations, and data transformations.
- Support testing and quality assurance before solutions are released.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve data issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering.
- Strong SQL skills, including querying, troubleshooting, and data validation.
- Experience with Power BI and DAX.
- Understanding of data modeling and reporting principles.
- Experience working with complex datasets and investigating data quality issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
