Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer for a fully remote contract opportunity, focusing on the development of a client-facing digital product. In this role, you will collaborate with backend developers and client stakeholders to create a secure and user-friendly mobile application that integrates AI capabilities and business workflows, while managing the complete mobile development lifecycle from design to release and ongoing improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the mobile application for the agreed iOS and/or Android scope.
- Translate user journeys, designs, and business requirements into accessible mobile experiences.
- Integrate the application with backend APIs, including the exchange and validation of JSON data.
- Implement authentication, session management, secure local storage, and user access behavior.
- Present AI-generated information and workflow results effectively.
- Address issues related to connectivity, interrupted requests, and data synchronization.
- Test across supported devices and operating system versions, resolving performance and security issues.
- Manage builds, release preparation, and app store submissions as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering mobile applications using technologies such as React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Practical experience integrating REST APIs and working with structured JSON data.
- Strong understanding of mobile authentication, permissions, secure storage, and application lifecycle.
- Experience in building responsive interfaces for various screen sizes and device capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with testing, debugging, performance optimization, and version control.
- Experience with published applications or app store releases is beneficial.
- Knowledge of AI services, push notifications, and offline capabilities is advantageous.
