Overview
We are seeking a contract Network Engineer for a remote engagement lasting up to eight weeks. The successful candidate will support a range of on-premises and cloud networking projects, working closely with a software development team to enhance and secure network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Support on-premises and cloud networking projects.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers and Fortinet firewalls.
- Implement and manage IP ACLs and security policies.
- Collaborate with software teams to ensure optimal network performance.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical solutions.
- Document network configurations and changes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of routers, Fortinet firewalls, and IP ACLs.
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
