Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Project Manager to play a crucial role in a significant public transport transformation programme in Yorkshire. The contractor will lead technology and operational change initiatives, collaborating with various stakeholders and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery. This hybrid role allows for flexibility, with 2-3 days on-site work each week, and immediate interviews are available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives.
- Manage project planning, timelines, budgets, and dependencies effectively.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement with senior business and technical audiences.
- Coordinate efforts among suppliers, partners, and internal teams.
- Support testing, implementation, and operational readiness activities.
- Drive progress in complex project environments with a proactive approach.
- Ensure project governance and delivery management practices are followed.
- Utilize methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or Hybrid delivery models as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale technology and business transformation programmes.
- Strong project planning, governance, and delivery management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and dependencies.
- Experience coordinating suppliers and managing stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with project lifecycle delivery from initiation to go-live.
- Experience in digital transformation, ERP programmes, or public sector transformation projects.
- Knowledge of operational technology and systems integration is beneficial.
- Certification or experience with PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or similar methodologies is preferred.
