Overview
This temporary contract position seeks an experienced Oracle Service Cloud Developer to enhance customer service operations through the development, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Service Cloud solutions. The developer will work closely with business stakeholders to translate their requirements into effective technical solutions, ensuring a seamless integration with existing systems. This role involves a blend of technical development and system configuration, providing an opportunity to contribute significantly to high-profile projects.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud applications to meet business requirements.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support customer service processes.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to optimize user experience and data visibility.
- Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, and integrity checks to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform and configuration issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for compliance purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Certification in Oracle Service Cloud is desirable.
- Strong foundation in database concepts, SQL, and enterprise application integration.
- Experience in configuring Oracle Service Cloud applications and developing custom solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
- Knowledge of Oracle best practices and security standards.
