Overview
This role is an Oracle Service Cloud Developer position available initially as a 2-3 month contract, with flexibility for part-time and full-time candidates based on organizational needs. The contractor will be responsible for developing, configuring, and enhancing Oracle Service Cloud solutions, leveraging technical expertise to deliver efficient, customer-focused service solutions.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) applications to meet organizational requirements.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships to support business processes.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to optimize customer service operations.
- Configure workspaces, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces to enhance usability and reporting capabilities.
- Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, and integrity checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues related to configuration, data, or system integration challenges.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for future reference and compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Certifications specific to Oracle Service Cloud are highly desirable.
- Knowledge or certifications in related Oracle products, such as Oracle Digital Assistant or Fusion applications, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in SQL and database design is beneficial for success in this role.
- Ability to obtain DBS clearance if necessary.
- Experience working in dynamic environments with a focus on innovation and quality.
