Overview
The Oracle Developer will initially engage in a 2-3 month contract role focused on the development and enhancement of Oracle Service Cloud solutions. This role requires a blend of technical development, system configuration expertise, and collaboration with business stakeholders to create and implement effective customer service platforms. The developer will troubleshoot issues, manage data integrity, and support integrations with third-party applications, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with organizational practices.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer Oracle Service Cloud applications to meet business needs.
- Design, create, and maintain custom objects, fields, tables, and relationships within the platform.
- Develop and configure business rules, workflows, and automation processes to streamline customer service operations.
- Support data management activities, including data imports, exports, and integrity checks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, configuration, and data-related issues promptly.
- Support and develop integrations between Oracle Service Cloud and third-party applications.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and development activities for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Certifications in Oracle Service Cloud are highly desirable.
- Experience with SQL, database design, and integration technologies.
- Proven track record of configuring and developing within Oracle Service Cloud.
- Strong understanding of data migration, system customization, and user interface design.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with Oracle best practices and security standards.
