Overview
The Performance Test Manager will own the performance testing process across the program, ensuring that systems, integrations, and business-critical services meet established performance standards. This role involves collaborating with various teams to develop a robust performance test strategy, conduct thorough testing, and provide assurance for release decisions. The contractor will lead initiatives from strategy formulation to execution, focusing on scalability, stability, and resilience of technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Set and maintain the performance test strategy, scope, plan, schedule, estimates, and resourcing approach.
- Translate non-functional requirements into measurable acceptance criteria.
- Construct realistic workload models reflecting business volumes and peak scenarios.
- Coordinate dependencies such as environments, tools, and test data for effective testing.
- Lead the execution of various performance tests including load, stress, and scalability tests.
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify bottlenecks and implement observability solutions.
- Manage ongoing performance issues, including defect resolution and risk assessment.
- Report on performance trends, capacity risks, and provide recommendations for stakeholders.
