Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharma Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract, primarily remote with occasional travel to the Manchester office. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional programmes in a highly regulated environment, building strong relationships with stakeholders and driving projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex cross-functional projects within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
- Influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex matrix organizations to drive project success.
- Implement governance, planning, risk, and dependency management processes.
- Collaborate effectively with teams to ensure alignment and momentum across multiple workstreams.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget while meeting regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular project reviews and updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven project management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, clinical, diagnostics, or medtech sectors.
- Strong track record of delivering complex cross-functional programmes.
- Experience collaborating with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Operations teams.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong skills in governance, planning, risk management, and dependency management.
- Credibility, collaboration, and commercial awareness in project management.
