Overview
We are seeking an experienced Siemens Polarion ALM Solution Architect/SME to take the lead in designing, implementing, and integrating enterprise-scale Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions in complex engineering contexts. This hybrid role involves working closely with various engineering and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective, scalable ALM solutions while ensuring robust governance and infrastructure support.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Siemens Polarion ALM implementations.
- Gather ALM requirements and conduct fit-gap assessments.
- Define To-Be architecture and implementation roadmaps.
- Design and govern Polarion projects, templates, workflows, and processes.
- Configure Work Items, Documents, Test Management, roles, and permissions.
- Develop advanced dashboards, LiveReports, wiki pages, and Velocity-scripted widgets.
- Integrate Polarion with CI/CD, build, test, and wider engineering toolchains.
- Establish reusable standards and governance across multiple projects/programmes.
Requirements
- Significant experience delivering ALM solutions with deep expertise in Siemens Polarion.
- Hands-on experience with Polarion administration, configuration, and solution architecture.
- Ability to manage project templates and multi-project governance.
- Proficient in Work Items, workflows, Documents, Test Management, and CI/CD integration.
- Skilled in developing Polarion dashboards, LiveReports, and Velocity scripting.
- Knowledge of infrastructure setup, upgrades, migrations, roles, permissions, and process management.
- Proficient in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML.
- Experience in complex engineering or regulated environments is advantageous.
