Overview
The Product Owner will join a Commodities trading firm to manage a suite of digital products utilized by internal traders and clients. This role involves collaborating with the trading team and external providers to ensure that product development aligns with business needs. The Product Owner will be responsible for maintaining the delivery roadmap and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders and the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day product management for digital products used by traders and clients.
- Collaborate with internal traders to gather and shape product requirements.
- Manage product development stages through refinement and prioritization discussions.
- Monitor product performance by tracking and reviewing metrics.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal traders and manage external client requests.
- Ensure timely delivery of product features and customizations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a trading environment.
- Strong understanding of Physical Trading, Freight, LNG, and Logistics.
- Experience in managing digital product development and delivery.
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools for product management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
