Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner to join a Commodities trading firm specializing in Physical LNG, Freight, and Logistics trading. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal traders and external providers, managing the product development lifecycle to ensure the digital tools align with business needs and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves overseeing the product roadmap, defining requirements, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day product management of digital products used by the trading team and clients.
- Collaborate with traders and external providers to understand their needs and gather requirements.
- Develop and maintain the product delivery roadmap, ensuring timely execution of projects.
- Write and refine user stories in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Participate in prioritization discussions and track product metrics for continuous improvement.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal traders and external client requests regarding product functionalities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a commodities trading environment.
- Strong understanding of Physical Trading, Freight, LNG, and Logistics.
- Experience with digital product management and agile methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in writing user stories and managing product backlogs.
- Experience coordinating with internal teams and external partners to meet business goals.
