Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner with expertise in Physical LNG, Freight, and Cargo Trading to join a Commodities trading firm for a 6-month engagement, potentially extending to 9 months. In this role, you will collaborate with internal traders and external service providers to manage and enhance digital products critical to the trading and logistics operations, ensuring alignment with business strategies and client needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and shape product requirements.
- Manage the delivery roadmap and prioritize product features.
- Write user stories and run refinement sessions with the engineering team.
- Monitor product performance and analyze metrics for continuous improvement.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal traders and handle client requests for product customization.
- Ensure timely delivery of product features and enhancements.
- Facilitate communication between traders and external providers such as operators and ports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in a trading or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of Physical Trading, Freight, LNG, and Logistics.
- Experience in managing digital products and working with engineering teams.
- Ability to gather and define product requirements effectively.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and product management methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Proficient in tracking and reviewing product metrics to inform decisions.
