Overview
The Product Owner will play a pivotal role in a Commodities trading firm specializing in Freight, LNG, and Logistics trading. Working closely with internal traders and external providers, this position focuses on the day-to-day management of digital products used by the trading team and clients, ensuring that development aligns with business needs and opportunities. This role encompasses product delivery, requirement shaping, and stakeholder collaboration, with a significant emphasis on enhancing the digital trading experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of digital products for the trading team and clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal traders to gather and shape product requirements.
- Own the delivery roadmap and oversee the development stages to ensure timely completion.
- Facilitate refinement sessions with the engineering team to clarify objectives and priorities.
- Monitor product performance by tracking and reviewing key metrics.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal traders and manage client requests for additional functionalities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, particularly in trading environments.
- Strong understanding of Commodities trading, Freight, LNG, and Logistics.
- Ability to manage product delivery and oversee development teams effectively.
- Experience in shaping requirements and writing user stories.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management frameworks.
