Overview
The Lead Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in driving architectural solutions for a complex UK organization undergoing significant technology transformation. Working collaboratively with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders, this contractor will have end-to-end responsibility for various architectural initiatives across digital products and multiple technology domains including AWS and CRM. The emphasis will be on producing clear architectural designs and ensuring solutions deliver business value while adapting to evolving digital landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural ownership of digital products and technology initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into clear architectural designs and high-level documents.
- Engage with stakeholders to assess options and ensure solutions integrate into the broader enterprise.
- Identify gaps in existing architecture and help prioritize the technology backlog.
- Influence the future technology roadmap based on insights gathered from stakeholders and industry trends.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in end-to-end Solution Architecture within a large enterprise or major consultancy.
- Proven expertise across various technology areas including cloud/AWS, CRM, and integration.
- Ability to create comprehensive architectural artifacts and high-level designs.
- Strong understanding of data models, migration, and integration processes.
- Experience in translating complex business requirements into deliverable solutions.
- Robust stakeholder management skills to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort with detail-oriented work while maintaining a strategic perspective.
- AWS experience is essential; familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous but not mandatory.
