Overview
The Program Manager will lead and oversee a portfolio of projects, working closely with approximately seven team members in a matrix management structure. This role involves ensuring timely submission of status reports, managing customer relationships, and driving transformation initiatives while maintaining project discipline and supporting the adoption of relevant management tools.
Responsibilities
- Matrix-manage a team of approximately 7 members and conduct monthly portfolio/team reviews.
- Lead the programme/project portfolio, ensuring on-time submission of status reports and executive updates.
- Act as the main point of contact for customer escalations, acknowledging and addressing issues promptly.
- Document and review milestones, benefits, and progress for transformation initiatives on a monthly basis.
- Contribute to Customer Delivery leadership activities and complete associated actions within defined timelines.
- Develop and implement the Small Projects Service Proposition with documented improvements.
- Maintain project discipline through regular risk reviews and adherence to reporting standards.
- Support the adoption of ServiceNow by ensuring its use in applicable projects for management and reporting activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in program or project management in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in matrix management.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly with stakeholders and customers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Experience in transformation initiatives and project discipline methodologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar project management tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with change control processes and risk management practices.
