Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager specializing in M&A and Transaction Readiness for a 6-month contract role within an insurance organization. The successful candidate will lead a complex transaction readiness program, coordinating multiple workstreams while providing governance and delivery oversight. Collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams will be essential to ensure the programme's success and stakeholder engagement from the outset.
Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the programme management framework.
- Build and maintain an integrated plan across multiple workstreams.
- Define governance, reporting, and escalation processes.
- Create dashboards, reporting templates, and programme documentation.
- Drive progress against key milestones and critical path activities.
- Coordinate with workstream leads and external advisers.
- Produce weekly programme reports and prepare materials for governance forums.
- Maintain transparency of programme priorities and action logs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager or M&A Project Manager in the insurance industry.
- Strong expertise in partnering with Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Experience with M&A, transaction readiness, or complex transformation programmes.
- Strong PMO and programme governance proficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream programmes.
- Excellent skills in senior stakeholder management and executive reporting.
- Experience in creating integrated programme plans and robust RAID frameworks.
- Ability to operate hands-on and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.
