Overview
As a Senior Product Manager, you will oversee the media tooling programme, leading efforts in product strategy, engineering coordination, and stakeholder management within a global environment. This role requires a senior individual contributor approach, where you will own the technical roadmap while ensuring effective governance and delivery processes are in place. Collaborating closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders, you will translate complex business requirements into actionable engineering tasks and effectively communicate progress to executive audiences.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for the platform, defining prioritisation frameworks and managing the backlog.
- Lead sprint planning and backlog refinement in collaboration with Senior Engineering Lead.
- Maintain and publish governance artefacts including delivery status reports, risk registers, and release notes.
- Serve as the primary interface between the engineering team and global stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of requirements and outputs.
- Manage release planning and gate management for software deployments.
- Identify, document, and manage programme risks and dependencies, escalating issues as necessary.
- Conduct structured requirements-gathering sessions to produce engineering specifications.
- Define and maintain delivery KPIs and quality metrics, reporting regularly on progress.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product or programme management within an enterprise technology environment.
- Demonstrable experience with end-to-end enterprise software delivery from requirements definition to production release.
- Strong understanding of engineering team processes, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Proficiency in documentation practices for roadmaps, risk registers, and status reports.
- Experience managing globally distributed teams and navigating time-zone complexities.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Formal qualifications in delivery frameworks such as SAFe, PRINCE2, PMP are advantageous.
- Background in gaming, media technology, or AI/ML product delivery is beneficial.
