Overview
The Programme Manager will oversee the delivery of complex engineering programmes within a leading Aerospace & Aviation organization on a 12-month contract. Collaborating closely with customers and cross-functional teams, the role aims to ensure timely and budget-compliant project execution while maintaining the highest quality standards. This position serves as the focal point for programme execution, balancing customer expectations with commercial and technical objectives across multiple workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex engineering programmes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Manage programme schedules, budgets, risks, and customer deliverables.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Oversee hardware-led engineering projects.
- Provide guidance to multidisciplinary teams to deliver key programme milestones.
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance against objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in programme management within Aerospace, Aviation, Defence, or regulated engineering environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience in managing schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
- Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
- Background in overseeing hardware-led engineering projects.
- Exposure to electronics, FPGA, PCB, or embedded systems.
- Understanding of the challenges in delivering products within regulated industries.
