Proposals Co-Ordinator

Overview

The Proposals Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the growth of the Civil Nuclear business unit by coordinating proposal activities for bids related to the nuclear sector. Working closely with the proposals team, sales, and project managers, the successful candidate will ensure the development and submission of compelling, compliant, and high-quality proposals. This position is hybrid, requiring three days in the office and two days of remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Support the proposal team throughout the bid lifecycle from Invitation to Tender (ITT) to submission.
  • Coordinate preparation, review, and submission of bids, PQQs, SQs, and capability statements.
  • Manage document production activities including formatting, proofreading, and version control.
  • Track feedback from reviewers and coordinate responses during proposal development.
  • Prepare and maintain bid documentation to meet corporate branding and quality standards.
  • Maintain proposal schedules and action trackers to ensure deadline compliance.
  • Arrange and support proposal meetings and lessons learned sessions.
  • Assist with compliance reviews to address tender requirements and evaluation criteria.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in bid management, preferably in the nuclear and government sector.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills and strong written English with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with nuclear industry procurement processes and terminology, particularly in the UK.
  • Experience with document collaboration tools and databases.
  • Comfortable working under pressure to meet bid submission deadlines.
  • UK national with no dual nationality restrictions.
