Overview
The Bid Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the Civil Nuclear business sector by coordinating and managing the preparation and submission of proposals. This hybrid position allows for collaboration with the Proposal Manager, Business Development, Sales, and Operations teams while engaging with various technical and corporate stakeholders to ensure compliance and high-quality submissions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bid management, familiar with the nuclear sector's unique requirements and procurement processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation, review, and submission of bids, PQQs, SQs, and framework responses.
- Manage proposal documentation, including formatting, proofreading, and quality assurance.
- Prepare proposal templates ensuring compliance with client instructions and corporate branding.
- Maintain bid schedules, action trackers, and submission plans.
- Incorporate reviewer feedback into proposals and track comments.
- Coordinate contributions from multiple teams and external partners for comprehensive submissions.
- Support bid compliance reviews to address tender requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Help facilitate bid meetings, reviews, and lessons learned sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in bid management or proposals coordination.
- Experience in the nuclear, government, defence, engineering, or energy sectors.
- Familiarity with UK nuclear industry and government procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of bid compliance and governance requirements.
- Excellent written English with attention to detail.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and proficiency in the Office 365 suite.
- Experience with SharePoint and document collaboration tools.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines effectively.
