Overview
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting various infrastructure, endpoint, and security projects within the organization. Working closely with a consulting team, the successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the current environment and delivering technical projects with minimal supervision. This position requires a hands-on individual with a strong engineering background who is capable of taking ownership of their work.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead infrastructure, endpoint, and security projects.
- Quickly assess and understand the existing environment.
- Take ownership of projects and deliver on technical objectives.
- Implement and manage Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
- Utilize VMware technologies including vSphere/ESXi.
- Deploy and maintain Citrix solutions and Windows Server environments.
- Manage networking systems, including VPNs and firewalls.
- Ensure infrastructure and endpoint security best practices are followed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Senior Infrastructure or 3rd Line engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID Conditional Access.
- Proficiency in VMware technologies (vSphere/ESXi).
- Experience with Citrix environments, Windows Server, and networking.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure and endpoint security protocols.
- Ability to independently manage and deliver technical projects.
- Familiarity with Sophos firewall/VPN and Aruba EdgeConnect is a plus.
