Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Cyber Security to lead our organization's security initiatives. In this senior role, you will be responsible for overseeing the security posture across our operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and influencing executive decision-making. You will work closely with the Director of IT & Cyber Security and manage a team to implement comprehensive security strategies that protect our platforms and users.
Responsibilities
- Own the organization’s end-to-end cyber security posture.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
- Oversee ISO/IEC 27001 certification and recertification processes.
- Manage PCI DSS compliance and external audit engagements.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
- Provide technical expertise in cloud and application security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Directly manage security personnel and oversee their professional development.
- Ensure regular security operations reviews and updates to maintain compliance and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud and application security practices.
- Proven track record of managing an ISMS and leading compliance with ISO/IEC 27001.
- Experience with PCI DSS compliance and leading successful audit processes.
- Strong experience in engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- At least 5+ years in senior security leadership, including direct people management.
- Possession of CISSP, CISM, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor certifications.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with current trends and technologies in cyber security and risk management.
