Overview
We are looking for a Cyber Security Architect with active SC clearance to join a dynamic team working on a Defence modernisation programme. The role involves hands-on delivery of security architecture outputs and collaboration with Senior Security Architects and Digital Engineering stakeholders to enhance the security framework of the project. This position requires a strong understanding of applied security architecture, secure-by-design principles, and engineering-led security integration, and is structured for hybrid working, requiring on-site presence three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver core security architecture outputs such as digital engineering security artifacts and engagement reports.
- Produce security requirements specifications and security principles framework.
- Create infrastructure mapping documents and security architecture design packs.
- Conduct threat modelling and develop a reusable security pattern library.
- Manage the creation of knowledge transfer packs, including training materials and walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance the programme's overall security posture.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in security architecture and security consulting.
- Proven ability to design and review secure infrastructure.
- Experience applying secure-by-design principles in practical environments.
- Familiarity with digital engineering and secure architectural controls.
- Knowledge of pattern-based design methodologies.
