Overview
The Learning and Development Specialist will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a new digital learning capability for a charity organization. Working closely with the People & Culture team, the specialist will focus initially on launching a mandatory Cyber Security Education Programme while also establishing broader learning pathways in digital, data, AI, and cyber security. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure effective training delivery and adherence to timelines.
Responsibilities
- Design and build modular digital, data, AI, and cyber learning programmes.
- Lead the development of a mandatory cyber security education programme.
- Collaborate with People & Culture to support change and adoption initiatives.
- Develop role-relevant learning pathways for staff and volunteers.
- Recommend strategies for LMS use, compliance tracking, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Strong background in Learning & Development or training design.
- Experience designing modular or blended learning programmes from scratch.
- Proven ability to deliver learning programmes within tight timelines.
- Experience developing digital or cyber security education.
- Desirable experience in delivering mandatory compliance training.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and change-adoption methodologies.
- Ability to work 3 days per week in a fast-paced team environment.
