Overview
The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading cybersecurity initiatives for advanced electric vehicle (EV) programs, focusing on the ISO/SAE 21434 lifecycle. Collaborating with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and cross-functional engineering teams, the engineer will define cybersecurity concepts, manage requirements, and ensure secure-by-design practices within a dynamic, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead Item Definition and TARA workshops.
- Develop Cybersecurity Goals, Concepts, and requirements.
- Manage requirements in Polarion or DOORS.
- Own Cybersecurity Interface Agreements and Cybersecurity Cases.
- Support CSMS, audit readiness, and secure-by-design development.
- Collaborate closely with Functional Safety, Systems, Software, and Hardware teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in automotive embedded systems, including 3+ years in cybersecurity.
- Strong experience with ISO/SAE 21434, TARA, ASPICE, and ISO 26262.
- Knowledge of automotive E/E architectures, cryptography, PKI, Secure Boot, and AUTOSAR Classic Security.
- Experience engaging with OEMs and producing high-quality technical documentation.
- Desirable certifications: TÜV, SGS, CISSP, or CSSLP.
- Experience with EV powertrain systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of UN R155/R156, TISAX, and Secure Diagnostics is beneficial.
- Python scripting experience is preferred.
