Overview
We are seeking a skilled DV Cleared Python Developer to join a long-term project in London. The successful candidate will work closely with a team to develop and enhance applications in secure, air-gapped environments, utilizing their expertise in Python, Docker, and Kubernetes. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to technical solutions within complex environments while ensuring compliance with security standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and services using Python.
- Build, deploy, and maintain capabilities within air-gapped environments.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build and integrate APIs and microservices.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflow orchestration.
- Configure and integrate workflow tooling such as Jira.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within secure environments.
Requirements
- Strong commercial Python development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and management.
- Prior experience working within air-gapped environments.
- Solid understanding of APIs and microservices.
- Experience with data pipeline/orchestration technologies such as Prefect or Airflow.
- Proven experience configuring and integrating workflow tooling such as Jira.
- Familiarity with database technologies like SQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, DSE/Cassandra, and Redis.
- Active DV clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
