Overview
The Quality Inspector will join the team to conduct installation quality walkdowns and inspections at an onshore site. This short-term contract position focuses on ensuring the quality of WTG (Wind Turbine Generator) installations by identifying and documenting any defects or non-conformances. The inspector will also be responsible for compiling QA records and handover documentation, with immediate availability required for the role.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation quality inspections and walkdowns for WTG installations.
- Identify and document defects, snags, and non-conformances.
- Compile and maintain QA records and handover packs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
- Report findings accurately to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other site personnel to ensure quality standards are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Nordex WTG QA Inspector.
- Full GWOs including Enhanced First Aid, Working at Height, Manual Handling & Fire Awareness.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- HV Awareness Training.
- ASSI/SBST Training (Nordex safety training).
- ISO0012 certification.
