Overview
We are seeking a Sanity Developer (CMS) for a 3-month remote contract to lead a transition from Drupal to Sanity for a top digital advertising agency. The contractor will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute the content strategy, ensure a smooth migration, and build robust solutions for a large-scale project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Sanity content models and Studio.
- Design structured content alongside editorial workflows and roles.
- Implement content migration from Drupal to Sanity.
- Create front-end templates and components with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA).
- Integrate various systems, including HubSpot and Salesforce, ensuring clean abstractions.
- Establish internationalisation for multiple languages.
- Document architectural decisions and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience building full-stack web applications in production.
- Hands-on experience with Sanity.io, including content modeling and GROQ.
- Proven track record of shipping at least two production Sanity.io projects.
- Strong skills in TypeScript, React, Node.js, Next.js, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with clean content migrations and rendering strategies, including SEO fundamentals.
- Familiarity with CRM and analytics integrations and error handling practices.
- Knowledge of multilingual content management in Sanity, including document-level translation.
