Overview
The SAP R2R Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase of an SAP S/4HANA implementation project. This position involves working closely with business stakeholders to validate finance processes, challenge system integrators, and ensure readiness for go-live and business as usual (BAU) operations. The consultant will leverage their extensive knowledge of Record to Report (R2R) to provide pragmatic and proactive support throughout the UAT phase and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate finance processes during UAT.
- Challenge system integrators to ensure processes align with business requirements.
- Support the programme through the go-live phase and into BAU.
- Identify potential gaps in processes and recommend solutions proactively.
- Utilize strong R2R knowledge to ensure financial processes function as intended.
- Engage in detailed discussions about financial processes and their implementation.
Requirements
- Strong functional experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
- Expertise in Record to Report (R2R) processes.
- Previous experience in supporting ERP programmes during UAT.
- Comfortable with detailed finance process assessments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders.
- Proactive and pragmatic approach to identifying and addressing gaps.
