Overview
We are seeking an SC Cleared Technical Architect with expertise in Python and Django to contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable digital solutions in a public sector context. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with engineering teams, delivery managers, and stakeholders to create high-performing applications, leveraging their architectural knowledge and hands-on technical skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver complex enterprise-level applications.
- Develop Python-based solutions leveraging industry best practices.
- Architect applications using the Django framework.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration of distributed systems.
- Utilise cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure, for application deployment.
- Ensure applications are secure by implementing best security practices.
- Communicate architectural decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical architecture and delivery of enterprise-level applications.
- Strong technical proficiency in Python and experience with Python-based solutions.
- Extensive experience with the Django framework for application design.
- Experience in API architecture and integration of distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Solid understanding of modern software development practices and design patterns.
- Experience in designing secure applications and implementing security measures.
- Ability to manage stakeholder communications effectively regarding architectural decisions.
