Overview
This contract role is for a Senior AEM Developer who will work remotely within an established engineering team, focusing on the development and maintenance of Adobe Experience Manager components for a high-traffic digital commerce platform. The developer will collaborate closely with architects, front-end engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver new features and enhancements while optimizing ongoing performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop AEM components, templates, workflows, and OSGi services using Java.
- Work with Sling, JCR, and HTL to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Integrate AEM with commerce platforms, APIs, and third-party services.
- Support deployments via Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical design, and performance tuning.
- Guide less experienced developers as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on AEM development experience.
- Strong Java skills with a solid understanding of Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Exposure to commerce integrations, such as Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript or React is an advantage.
- Adobe AEM certification is desirable.
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with remote teams.
