Overview
The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with an early-stage tech company focused on innovative applications of mobile and behavioral data. In this fully remote contract role, the contractor will analyze data from mobile interactions and user behavior to develop predictive models that inform user engagement and interaction strategies. They will leverage their experience in behavioral data and machine learning to explore patterns and drive insights within large-scale datasets.
Responsibilities
- Conduct time-series analysis and predictive modeling.
- Build and test machine learning models using Python.
- Handle large-scale behavioral datasets and derive insights.
- Deploy models to production environments.
- Investigate patterns of engagement, retention, and user experience.
- Utilize cloud-based data and machine learning infrastructure, specifically GCP.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data science with a focus on behavioral data.
- Expertise in machine learning and predictive modeling in Python.
- Familiarity with time-series analysis techniques.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets.
- Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures, preferably GCP.
- Background in gaming, neuroscience, or cognitive science is advantageous.
