Overview
The Senior Data Scientist will play a crucial role in the Data Science team, focusing on the development and deployment of machine learning models and Generative AI solutions. This position entails collaborating with team members on various projects, including pricing algorithms, recommendation systems, and marketing analytics. The chosen contractor will work fully remote and is expected to start within a two-week timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
- Collaborate on Generative AI projects, including demand modeling and LLM solutions.
- Utilize Python and SQL for data processing and model management.
- Implement MLOps practices to streamline model workflows and deployments.
- Work with cloud-based tools, particularly GCP, BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
- Maintain code quality and version control using Docker and Git.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Python and SQL for data analysis and model development.
- Experience with production machine learning and model deployment.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI and large language models (LLMs).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Ability to work with Docker and Git for model management and deployments.
