Overview
We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team in a fully remote, hands-on delivery role. This position primarily focuses on building and implementing Azure environments utilizing Azure API Management (APIM) and Terraform. The successful candidate will collaborate with architects and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet technical standards, while also maintaining thorough documentation throughout project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement Azure cloud environments based on high-level designs.
- Implement and support Azure API Management (APIM) solutions.
- Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code to automate environment deployments.
- Assist with the installation of applications/services and automate processes where possible.
- Promote releases across various environments up to production.
- Ensure technical solutions adhere to established standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to refine technical stories and achieve Definition of Ready.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and project artifacts.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Azure cloud-based solutions from an infrastructure standpoint.
- Hands-on experience with Azure API Management implementation.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code, particularly using Terraform.
- Track record of building Azure environments following high-level designs.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Experience in installing, implementing, and automating applications/services.
- Proven ability to promote releases through development, testing, and production environments.
- Excellent technical design, documentation, and communication skills.
