Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with a focus on Azure Infrastructure, particularly in Terraform and Azure API Management (APIM). This fully remote position involves working with a financial services client, supporting a busy infrastructure team through hands-on engagement with their production environment. The role emphasizes taking high-level architecture designs to deliver functional infrastructure and requires both troubleshooting inherited Terraform code and building new configurations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Azure infrastructure primarily via Terraform, including troubleshooting existing code.
- Build environments according to approved designs across various infrastructure components.
- Stand up and configure applications and services, focusing on automation.
- Promote application releases to production within formal change management processes.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Azure infrastructure in live production environments.
- Deep expertise in Terraform, including fixing inherited code.
- Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
- Familiarity with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with Ansible knowledge considered a plus.
- Experience in regulated environments with strong security and change governance.
