Overview
In this fully remote role as a Power BI Developer/Consultant, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for business stakeholders. Working closely with cross-functional teams, your focus will be on translating complex data into clear strategies while ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements to understand business needs for reporting and analytics.
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build and optimize data models to enhance reporting efficiency and performance.
- Implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.
- Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot performance issues with BI solutions.
- Document solutions and provide training on analytics best practices to users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align deliverables with business goals.
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data integration tools.
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI platforms for dashboard creation.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with data warehousing principles for scalable reporting.
- Experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL for data manipulation.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
