Overview
We are seeking an experienced Flutter Developer for a 6-month contract with a growing tech company. The successful candidate will join a small, close-knit engineering team, contributing to mobile development projects while collaborating with APIs and cross-functional teams. This remote role offers flexibility with an expectation of only one day per month on-site in London, for which travel expenses will be covered.
Responsibilities
- Develop mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement features.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other technical stakeholders.
- Work with APIs to integrate and enhance application functionality.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of existing applications.
- Participate in team meetings and code reviews to ensure quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of mobile development experience.
- Proven experience with Flutter and Dart.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a small team.
- Familiarity with APIs and experience in cross-team collaboration.
- Knowledge of Python and Django is a plus.
- Experience with React or React Native is advantageous.
- Logistics or transport industry experience is a bonus.
