Overview
The Senior Delivery Lead will oversee and direct the re-platforming of mortgage origination and servicing systems for a building society. This role entails leading a project team and collaborating closely with third-party vendors, ensuring that stakeholder engagement and delivery objectives are met. The position is hybrid, requiring in-person attendance two days a week at the client's office in the West Midlands and offers an initial contract with the potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Lead the project team in the re-platforming of mortgage systems.
- Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to align on project goals.
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure delivery objectives are met within the agreed timelines.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholder groups.
- Manage project risks and issues proactively.
- Deliver status reports and updates to senior management on project progress.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager, Programme Manager, or Delivery Lead.
- Proven track record in leading mortgage servicing and/or origination platform implementations.
- Experience working within small to medium-sized lenders, building societies, or banks.
- Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders with credibility.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups efficiently.
