Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our interdisciplinary engineering and design consultancy on a 12-month contract. This role involves providing exceptional design services across a variety of projects while ensuring technical excellence and compliance. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery, quality assurance, and client coordination.
Responsibilities
- Produce and review high-quality design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Support delivery of complex and specialist projects.
- Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Identify scope changes and support fee recovery where required.
- Provide support to junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
- Strong understanding of Building Services Engineering systems.
- Proficient in sustainable design, renewable energy, and low-carbon technologies.
- Ability to assess project budgets and resource requirements.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Degree in an engineering or environmental discipline; relevant memberships beneficial.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and design-related regulatory requirements.
