Overview
The Senior Functional Consultant will play a key role within the Business Applications team of a leading technology consultancy, focusing on delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. This position involves working closely with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, lead workshops, and translate business needs into functional solutions, with a specific emphasis on Finance and its integration with warehousing and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
- Gather requirements and conduct workshops with stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Provide strong Finance functional expertise in areas such as General Ledger and financial reporting.
- Ensure configurations and implementations meet client expectations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within Business Central.
- Engage confidently with senior stakeholders and work independently.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong knowledge of Finance functional areas including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Understanding of Warehousing, Inventory, and Supply Chain processes.
- Proven track record of gathering requirements and leading workshops.
- Ability to configure and implement Business Central solutions.
- Experience in process improvement techniques.
- Capability to engage with senior stakeholders effectively.
