Overview
As a Dynamics F&O Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations programme. This position focuses on working collaboratively with various business units, including Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain, to streamline processes and implement solutions within the D365 F&O system. You will engage directly with stakeholders, lead functional design discussions, and configure the system based on the business's needs.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and operational teams to understand business processes end to end.
- Run business analysis by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and translating business needs into D365 F&O solutions.
- Lead design and fit-to-standard workshops with business stakeholders.
- Challenge existing processes and demonstrate how they can be optimized using D365 F&O standard functionality.
- Configure D365 Finance and SCM directly, rather than delegating to others.
- Support the solution through design, configuration, testing, UAT, and implementation.
Requirements
- Strong recent experience with Dynamics 365 F&O Cloud, rather than legacy Dynamics AX.
- Extensive functional knowledge in D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, including end-to-end processes.
- Proven experience in business analysis: requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design.
- Experience leading design and fit-to-standard workshops.
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills with business and operational stakeholders.
- Hands-on configuration experience within D365 F&O.
- Experience across the full delivery lifecycle: design, configuration, testing, UAT, and go-live.
