Overview
We are seeking an experienced D365 CE Project Manager to lead a Sales-focused proof of concept in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will guide the project from initial planning through to evaluation while collaborating with various stakeholders and managing relationships with senior executives. The primary goal is to assess whether the proposed Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solution aligns with business needs and to inform the potential for future implementations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of the D365 CE Sales proof of concept, managing scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, and risks.
- Work with stakeholders to define objectives, priority sales processes, deliverables, and measurable success criteria.
- Establish appropriate project governance, reporting, and escalation processes.
- Coordinate functional consultants, technical specialists, and client teams to deliver the agreed-upon solution.
- Oversee requirements workshops to ensure business needs are understood and prioritized.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across business and IT, including interactions with senior leaders.
- Provide clear progress updates, highlighting risks, decisions required, and implications for delivery.
- Coordinate demonstrations and feedback sessions to assess the solution against success criteria.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE implementations, particularly in Sales-focused projects.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and the D365 CE toolset for lead, opportunity, and pipeline management.
- Experience managing project delivery within large, complex organizations, preferably with a global presence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with senior executives and effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
- Strong project planning, governance, risk management, and scope control capabilities.
- Formal project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
- Previous experience in delivering proofs of concept or pilots is advantageous.
