Overview
The Senior Java Engineer will work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a skilled client-facing engineering team dedicated to a digital transformation project for a leading iGaming and Sports Betting client. The position is fully remote, focusing on the delivery of innovative solutions using modern technology stacks while promoting engineering best practices such as Test-Driven Development and clean coding.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality code using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Implement microservices architecture to enhance application performance.
- Utilize AWS, Docker, and Kafka for efficient application deployment and management.
- Collaborate within a cross-functional scrum team to achieve project milestones.
- Advocate for and implement engineering best practices across the team.
- Contribute expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Java Engineer with strong knowledge of Java 8+.
- Expertise in Spring Boot and REST APIs development.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and AWS services.
- Experience with Docker and Kafka is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, agile team environment.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including TDD and clean coding.
