Overview
We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join a software consultancy and contribute to a greenfield project within the iGaming industry. In this role, you will work in a product-focused team, responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of your systems from design to deployment and ongoing support in production. This position is ideally suited for individuals with experience in iGaming, betting, or financial services.
Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of system development from design to deployment.
- Support systems in production, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with a product team to define technical requirements.
- Implement robust Java applications using Spring framework.
- Work with REST APIs and microservices architectures on AWS.
- Utilize message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ for data processing.
- Adopt test-driven development (TDD) practices and CI/CD methodologies.
- Facilitate observability and monitoring for systems in production.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Java Engineer, particularly in the iGaming, betting, or financial services sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring framework.
- Experience building REST APIs and working with microservices on AWS.
- Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with system observability and monitoring tools.
