Overview
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager on a contract basis to lead a major business transformation and change programme within an international e-commerce marketplace. The contractor will manage cross-functional projects that span technology, operations, and processes while collaborating closely with various stakeholders across the organization. This role is critical for ensuring the successful implementation of new systems and processes, and driving meaningful change throughout the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex business transformation projects across the organization.
- Coordinate the implementation of new technology and redesigned operating processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across various business functions including technology, finance, and customer service.
- Manage projects from discovery and planning phases through to execution and adoption.
- Coordinate multiple teams and workstreams to ensure seamless delivery and manage dependencies.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to provide visibility on project progress and risks.
- Own project plans, budgets, and governance, maintaining momentum in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in delivering business transformation and change programmes.
- Strong background in managing projects that involve technology, business processes, and organisational change.
- Experience working across multiple business functions, not limited to IT.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage with senior leadership teams.
- Commercially minded with a focus on pragmatic and delivery-oriented solutions.
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or other complex international consumer-facing businesses is advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in environments with evolving priorities and ambiguity in delivery.
