Overview
We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer on a contract basis to contribute to the development of an AI-powered server for a distinguished client in cyber security. You will take ownership of a specific aspect of the build, collaborating with a proactive team to deliver a production-ready agentic AI product. This role offers the chance to leverage your expertise in Python frameworks and large language models in a meaningful project with real impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop an AI-powered MCP server using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Integrate large language models (LLMs) to enhance accessibility through an agentic interface.
- Manage your designated area of the build and communicate progress with the team.
- Collaborate with the client to refine and prioritize a backlog of tasks.
- Ensure scalability of APIs and cloud-native applications.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Python, particularly in FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Demonstrated experience in building applications that leverage LLMs through APIs.
- Proficiency in designing and constructing scalable APIs and cloud-native applications.
- Ability to take ownership of a specific build area while coordinating with a fast-paced team.
- Excellent proactive communication skills.
