Overview
We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to contribute to the development of an AI-powered MCP server for a leading cyber security organization. This contract position emphasizes individual ownership and accountability over a defined area of the project, allowing the engineer to make critical technical decisions and work closely with a dynamic team. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in Python frameworks and LLM integrations to build a robust, production-ready product.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance an agentic AI-powered MCP server.
- Own a self-contained area of the build and make technical decisions.
- Integrate LLMs to facilitate access through an agentic interface.
- Collaborate with the client to refine a prioritized backlog weekly.
- Ensure smooth communication and alignment within a fast-paced team environment.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience in Python, focusing on FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Experience building applications that utilize LLMs via APIs.
- Ability to design and implement scalable APIs and cloud-native applications.
- Demonstrated capability in owning a distinct area of a project while collaborating effectively with others.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to team engagement.
